First line-up of publishers confirm support for gamescom 2011

Organisers for gamescom have confirmed the first batch of publishers that have committed to this year's show in Cologne.

Some of those that will be in Germany come August include Bethesda, Namco Bandai, EA, Deep Silver, Valve, 2K and Ubisoft.

Last year, most of the main players in the publishing community were present at the show bar two: Sega and Capcom.

Sega pulled out due to "commercial" reasons, while Capcom cited a lack of titles to show for its reason.

gamescom takes place this year from August 17-21 in Cologne.
