First Call of Duty: Elite beta invites going out today

The first round of beta invites on Call of Duty: Elite are due to go out later today, according to Kotaku. The beta will allow players to try out some portions of the service before its full launch with Modern Warfare 3 in November with Black Ops. If you don't get in today, invites will still be shipped out throughout the next month. The full list of premium features for the sub service will be announced in September at CoD XP.
