Fire Emblem: Three Houses Finally Adds Another Gay Romance Option For Male Byleth

Earlier this year, Fire Emblem: Three Houses caught a lot of flack for its gay romance options for the male version of protagonist Byleth. Or rather, its lack thereof. Now, a new DLC pack for Expansion Pass owners has added in a new male romance option for male Byleth at the end of the game.
Spoilers for the end of Fire Emblem: Three Houses! Still with us? Excellent. The new gay romance option for male Byleth is none other than Jeritza, AKA. The Death Knight. A teacher at Garreg Mach Monastery who ends up betraying the church, Jeritza can be recruited, and then subsequently romanced at the end of the game, if you're playing the 'Crimson Flower' Edelgard-related route of the Black Eagles house.
Players might already know that when Fire Emblem: Three Houses launched, it only had one true gay romance option for male Byleth. This was Linhardt of the Black Eagles, and although it appeared that Alois, one of the teachers at Garreg Mach, was available for male Byleth to romance, this turned out to not be quite the case.
If a player were to pick Alois as a romance option while playing as the male version of Byleth, Alois would introduce them to a female friend of his, which the player would then marry instead. Players understandably felt cheated at the end of a 40+ hour long game, if they picked Alois as a marriage partner, only for the game to switch their romantic interest to another character without warning.
