Final Splatoon map unlocks tomorrow

Splatoon content support is coming to an end. Read now, cry later.

The final Splatoon map will unlock at 6:00pm PT January 21, Nintendo has announced.

Called Ancho-V Games, it's set inside the office of an indie game developer staffed by jellyfish.

"One feature of this stage are the PC-fan shaped propellers that can be inked to move portions of the floor. Use these to exploit the stage’s verticality and gain the high ground over your opponents. What role do these things play in game development, anyway?" Nintendo wrote on the offical Splatoon Tumblr.

This will be the last free map unlock, following the final weapon drop last week. It's been a good run of support for the Wii U's most popular multiplayer shooter, and I think Nintendo can safely call this experimental dive into online gaming a success.
