Final Fantasy rumours received special focus in this week's issue of Famitsu in a piece called 'The Truth of Rumors 2014,' which saw a few projects given a status update.

It follows Brenna's look at the Final Fantasy franchise and its impact on the last generation.

The issue was cribbed by Siliconera and Game-Jouhou, in which Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto said that Final Fantasy XV development is going smoothly and that the development for new scenes in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix have almost wrapped, confirming that production is coming to a close. He also teased more information on the remaster soon.

Dissidia series director Mitsunori Takahashi said “I definitely want to make it," when asked about a possible sequel, while Yoshinori Kitase confirmed that he's not working on Final Fantasy X-3.

We'll have more once the issue has been trawled in full. Stay tuned.
