Final Fantasy XIII-2 trailer admires the scenery

A new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 shows the sequel quashing criticisms of its precursor's corridor-environments.

Final Fantasy XIII was widely criticised for its extremely linear and somewhat unvaried environments, which held up until almost the final chapter. Square Enix has taken these complaints to heart - among others - and tried to offer more variety and greater exploration in the follow-up.

This French trailer shows off some the new and revamped locations Noel and Serah will visit when Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases in Japan this month, and internationally in early 2012, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
