Final Fantasy 15 - Square to take "a good, hard look" at PC after console launch

Final Fantasy 15 on PC is not totally out of the question, but nothing will happen before the console versions ship.

Square Enix recently revealed a September 30 launch date for Final Fantasy 15. The date applies to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, but many were wondering if a PC version is in the works.

According to director Hajime Tabata, working on all three versions simultaneously just wasn't possible, but he's definitely not ruling out the possibility.

"Unfortunately we weren't able to do simultaneous development on a PC and console version for [FF]15," he told Engadget.

"We had to focus on the console version and our goal was to maximize, optimize everything for the HD consoles."

Tabata went on to add that the studio will "definitely take a good, hard look at PC" once the PS4 and Xbox One versions have shipped. "But right now we aren't decided, we're still considering a lot of things," he concluded.

Although far from a confirmation, seeing Final Fantasy 15 on PC in today's market is not an impossible idea.
