Final Fantasy 14 video includes PS3 version in action

Seven minutes of in-game Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn footage shows off several locations in the realm of Eorzea, but what makes it all so exciting is that some of it was captured from the PlayStation 3 version. This is it, guys. It's actually going to happen.

Final Fantasy 14 released on OC in September 2010 to near universal derision, and failed to manifest on console as promised. Square Enix has worked its butt off to fix it, making the game free for a very long time and finally taking it down completely for a total reworking and relaunch. This means it's going to arrive on PS3 at last; it's due in August on both systems and is now available for pre-order. A beta starts in June.
