FIFA Ultimate Team's birthday celebrated with free pack giveaway, infographic inside

FIFA Ultimate Team has turned five today, and to celebrate; EA is giving away free card packs, rare cards and more.

It follows this new 2014 FIFA World Cup Brasil trailer that shows off some new gameplay.

FIFA Ultimate Team started in FIFA 09, and since then has become incredibly popular. In fact; this infographic says it best:

EA Sports is giving console and PC players five Gold Rare packs for free if you access the anniversary banner on the dash. The contents of each pack cannot be traded but they're yours to use as you see fit. You can also receive daily freebies from now until Monday by using the game's web app, which could be anything from bronze packs to bonus coins.

Players can also buy up to five Jumbo Gold Premium Packs today for 5,000 coins, down from 15,000, and finally; there's a Man of the Match edition Robin van Persie doing the rounds for winners of the pack lottery. It's still a game of chance mind; so don't expect to get him just like that.
