FIFA 14 will get World Cup mode on PS4 & Xbox One

Fans who were disappointed by EA's decision not to release 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, should be delighted to hear that the publisher will be updating the game to add a mode which resembles the tournament.

In a press release, EA Sports has confirmed that the new gamemode will be patched on May 29 for free. Not to be confused with FIFA 14 Ultimate Team World Cup update. the free mode will contain the 32 national teams competing in the tournament along with the official ball.
