FIFA 14: Ruud van Nistelrooy coming to Ultimate Team Legends

FIFA 14 is adding retired footballer Ruud van Nistelrooy to its Ultimate Team Legends roster exclusively on Xbox formats.

Nistelrooy, EA and Microsoft announced the player's return to football during the press conference seen below. It begins with him announcing his return to football, but as it turns out, he's just coming to FIFA 14: Ultimate Team Legends.

He'll be one of Ultimate Team's rarest and most valuable players, and can be obtained by beating four challenges over at EA's Play Like a Legend page. The incentive is open to players in the UK, France, Germany and Spain.

It follows teasing tweets from Nistelrooy's feed, suggesting that he's returning to the sport. We now know that it's all been a stunt. Well played...well played.

What do you make of Nistelrooy's addition to FIFA 14: Ultimate Team? Let us know below.
