February brings Radio Wave People into Augmented Reality for 3DS

Genius Sonority, the makers of very popular Pokémon Colosseum, is returning to the RPG scene with a fresh new take utilising the handheld's augmented reality features.

Radio Wave People is designed with the 3DS's augmented reality system to make these tiny protagonists bridge the space between the handheld console and into our world. You will need to catch them in-game by scanning the landscape, and then form a group to fight a demon king. As you would expect, each radio wave person will have their own statistics and abilities.

Directed by former Dragon Quest programmer, Manabu Yamana, Radio Wave People RPG, is coming to fans of the genre on February 8th 2012.

We can expect an invasion of Radio Wave People via the Nintendo eShop in Japan on February 8 for around $10. If you're eager to take a look however, Genius Sonority is also providing 3DS owners a look in, as a playable demo is due to be released on February 1st. Although the demo is limited to 30 plays, doing such will also unlock an item within the full game.
