Fear the Wolves is a battle royale shooter from former S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developers

Fear the Wolves has been announced by Vostok Games, creators of Survarium, and former developers of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.

Fear the Wolves is a first-person, battle royale shooter set in the radiation-filled Chernobyl. Like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Survarium, radiation is a key element in gameplay.

Details are scarce, but we do know that Fear the Wolves has been in development for "several months" and that it's going to support solo play, as well as squads. Like other battle royale games, Fear the Wolves will also feature 100 players on the same map.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans will be familiar with anomalies, and the constantly changing weather system, both of which return in Fear the Wolves. This includes a day-night cycle.

Fear the Wolves is in development for PC and consoles. It hits Early Access sometime this year on PC.
