Far Cry New Dawn PC specs revealed for 720p, 1080p, 4K

Ubisoft has unveiled the official PC requirements for Far Cry New Dawn.

Unsurprisingly, Far Cry New Dawn's PC specs are nearly identical to those of Far Cry 5. It's not a massive surprise, considering much of New Dawn is built on Far Cry 5.

There are a few major differences, of course, such as the greater emphasis on colour, the post-apocalyptic setting, new weapons and everything else seen in the game's reveal trailer

Like Far Cry 5, Ubisoft decided to split the requirements into different groups depending on your resolution, and framerate targets. The lowest is designed for running the game at low settings at 720p. Then we move a step higher to 1080p at high settings.

Surprisingly, Ubisoft didn't post framerate targets for these two sets. Seeing as the specs are similar to Far Cry 5's, it's safe to assume we're looking at 30, and 60fps for the two, respectively. Moving on to the 4K specs, framerate targets return once again.

By most accounts, Far Cry 5's PC port was highly customisable, decently optimised, and offered a few PC-specific options better suited for a mouse and keyboard setup. Hopefully the same will be true for New Dawn.
