Far Cry 6 reveal seemingly coming next month - rumour

We may be very close to the reveal of the next Far Cry.

According to Gamereactor.dk, Ubisoft is gearing up to officially announce Far Cry 6 - or at least, the next game in the series.

The game will be announced at Ubisoft Forward, the publisher's big event in July where we also expect to see Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay, not to mention (hopefully) a look at Rainbow Six Quarantine, Watch Dogs Legion and all of Ubisoft's biggest games.

The site notes that Far Cry 6 is the mysterious fifth AAA game Ubisoft plans to release before the end of March 2021. We already know of Valhalla, Legion, Quarantine, and Gods and Monsters - leaving out Far Cry 6 to round out the slate.

According to Gamereactor, the upcoming game will ditch 5's North American setting, presumably for a more exotic locale, where most Far Cry games have taken place. We'll find out for sure on July 12, unless it gets revealed earlier.
