Far Cry 5’s latest event, Pickup Blowup, starts today

Far Cry 5’s latest event starts today, and players are tasked with blowing up trucks.

Live events are community-based missions with a special objective for players to complete. Last week’s was “Roadkill”, challenging players to run over enemies and wildlife alike. Poor critters. Successful players unlocked a four-wheeler, while the entire community obtained a new outfit.

This week, players will need to take out peggie vehicles with proximity explosives, remote explosives, dynamite, grenades or pipe bombs.

Individuals who take out eight vehicles will earn 100 XP and 50 in cash. Take out 15, and 100 XP will be handed out along with the 1970 Kimberlite ZZT - aka The Cultbuster.

The community reward this week is the "Undercover Cultist" outfit.

Far Cry 5 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Pickup Blowup event will run from April 24 to May 1.
