Wanna play Far Cry 4 on Mt Everest?

A new Far Cry 4 promotion is offering one gamer the chance to climb Mt Everest, and play a video game there.

Far Cry 4's Quest for Everest promotion requires interested parties to submit a two minute video describing why they would like to climb Mt Everest and how they're the biggest Far Cry fan around. Only US residents are eligible, and the winner will need to pass health and fitness tests and obtain a doctor's approval to take part.

It's sort of weird timing, actually, as we just reported on a LAN party on a mountaintop.

The full grand prize, worth up to $7,000, includes return flights to Nepal, $1,000 spending money and a 14 night Mt Everest trekking experience. The prize is described as being associated with "inherent risk of death and significant injury to persons and property",

You also need to be able to make the trip when Ubisoft says so, and put up with an Ubisoft camera crew documenting your pre-trip training process. Check the full terms and conditions and enter via the Quest for Everest website. The video below goes into more detail, too.

Far Cry 4 is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in November.
