This Far Cry 4 video talks about blowing up cars and elephants

Far Cry 4 will let you ride on an elephant's back as though it were a live vehicle; use them as weapons; even slaughter the poor beasts if you like. You know this already. But you can also use the game's mechanical version of vehicles as a weapon as well.

One of the ways you can use a car to your advantage, according to creative director Alex Hutchinson, is park it on a hill, load it with C-4, cut the breaks and let it roll down the hill into the enemy compound and hit your detonator.

You will also be able to upgrade your C-4 to make it "stick" to things, such as the elephant, shoot it in the ass to make it go on a rampage and when it gets to the enemy blow it up. Poor thing.

Skinning animals for crafting is back, but Hutchinson said you won't be forced to use elephants to make particular items as with Far Cry 3's Path of the Hunter quests. According to him, this made people sad, so it won't be a required element.

The Outside Xbox interview with Hutchinson also discusses how helicopters were used to solve the problem of getting around the deep, mountainous valleys without having to climb and other gameplay nuggets.

Far Cry 4 releases on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One November 18.
