Famitsu confirms Final Fantasy XIII-2's Mass Effect DLC

Well that's one rumour I didn't really expect to come true.

According to Andriasang, the latest issue of Famitsu confirms earlier reports of Mass Effect-themed Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC.

The content doesn't seem to be very weighty - a pair of costumes. Siliconera reports the DLC is due on March 27 in Japan, and allows both Noel and Serah to dress as Commander Shepard. There are no images yet so it's not clear whether we're talking about N7 armour or uniforms. The first shot is below.

The cross-over isn't unprecedented; Final Fantasy XIII-2 already has Assassin's Creed costumes.

Another piece of DLC due on the same day adds in Ultros and Typhon from Final Fantasy VI as colosseum battles and recruitable party members.
