As noted by GamesIndustry.biz, around 1.2 million were sold via Steam, the rest were via Xbox One and PS4's digital marketplaces.
SuperData's Joost van Dreunen reckons those sales alone made Bethesda $100 million in three days.
The publisher said last week it had shipped 12 million units to retail for the launch, generating over $750 million.
