Fallout 4 mod delivers survival mode's save on rest system early

Fallout 4 can be as challenging as you want it to be.

An upcoming Fallout 4 patch will add in a new, improved survival mode with a bunch of different hardcore elements - diseases, hunger, thirst and more.

One of the major changes is that you'll only be able to save by sleeping in beds. No more quicksaving before every encounter. No more reloading a save you made bare minutes ago.

Beds the new Bonfire by KarmaCoin adds this feature in via modding, so you can get a preview. How is it?

"I've been playing it with some other increased difficulty mods and its absolutely terrifying," KarmaCoin wrote.

"Reminds me of playing Dark Souls."

I really like the idea of coming across a sleeping bag in a dungeon and getting as excited as if I'd found a bonfire. Roll on survival mode.
