The Falconeer arrives on Xbox Game Pass today alongside dragon DLC

The Falconeer arrives today on Xbox Games Pass, and the debut also brings a DLC drop.

The Falconeer is available through Xbox Game Pass for Android, console, and PC is a lovely looking title. The RPG focuses on aerial combat and was created by independent developer Tomas Sala. It has been available through Steam since fall.

It combines aerial fighting mechanics with an open world environment full of “fantastic enemies.” You will also choose between competing factions, all of which are at the mercy of the Great Ursee, a near-infinite body of water.

In the game, you will support your chosen faction while flying on missions from the back of a warbird.

Here’s a quick synopsis of the game in case you are unfamiliar with it:

Set above The Great Ursee, prospective players can take their armed aerial mounts in third-person to the skies as a Falconeer, an airborne warrior equipped with devastating ranged weaponry, to explore a bleak and hauntingly beautiful world, filled with wondrous locations and warmongering rival factions vying for the mysterious secrets hidden at the Ursee’s unfathomable depths.

The DLC is called The Hunter and will run you $1.99/£1.69/ €1.99.  It features the Mongres Hunter class which can fly the Ormir which is a dragon. There’s also a new weapon which is pyro pot guided rockets, plus you can expect additional outfits for your player avatar.
