Facebook sued over minors' in-game spending habits

Facebook has found itself the target of a legal complaint demanding it refund all Facebook Credit purchases made by minors.

Gamasutra reports the suit was filed by one Glynnis Bohannon, who claims Facbeook's policies with regards to minor's spending go against consumer protection laws.

The irate parent has filed a complaint against the social network with the Northern Californian District Court.

Facebook allows members as young as 13, but technically requires those under 18 to seek parent's permission before purchasing Facebook Credits, a virtual currency used to make purchases in games and apps.
