Fable III to have microtransaction-based storefront

During his recent BAFTA lecture, the ever-talkative Peter Molyneux announced that Fable III will include a microtransaction-based in-game shope.

Apparently, items like swords will run you little more than £1 a pop, while new areas (think Fable II's DLC) will probably cost a bit more.

So, you've got all these swords and landmasses - now what? Well, Molyneux suggested that players might be able to purchase walkthroughs at the store as well. However, he emphasized that - as with many of his ideas - this one could be left on the cutting room floor long before Fable III hits shelves.
