F1 2020 out in July, lets you create your own Formula One team

Codemasters has announced F1 2020 is coming this July, and for the first time ever, the game will allow you to create your own racing team.

Alongside the new entry in the series, the developers also announced the Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition which comes with exclusive F1 2020 content and three days early access.

For the first time in the series, you will be able to create your own F1 team in the My Team game mode. Your created team will be able to race alongside side the current Formula One line-up, along with a new driver-manager experience.

My Team and the Career mode will allow you flexibility with three-season lengths, allowing you to choose between the original full 22 race season, and shorter 10 and 16 race season options. These races also now include the Hanoi Circuit and Circuit Zandvoort.

The game also featured two-player split-screen alongside new options which will allow you to adjust the challenge to match your racing expertise.

Now, as far as the Deluxe Schumacher Edition is concerned, those who purchase it will be able to play as German driver Michael Schumacher in four of his cars. This edition also comes with exclusive content including themed car liveries, driver customization items, and a unique podium celebration.

The four cars included in the Deluxe Schumacher Edition are:

  • 1991: Jordan 191
  • 1994: Benetton B194
  • 1995: Benetton B195
  • 2000: Ferrari F1-2000

If you pre-order the Schumacher Deluxe Edition or the Seventy Edition, you will receive an exclusive set of in-game items.

F1 2020 will release July 10 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
