Expect to see more on Resident Evil: Revelations at E3

Capcom has announced on its Facebook page that during E3, the first major demonstration of Resident Evil: Revelations will be held.

While unsurprising considering the venue, relatively little of the game has been seen since it was first announced at E3 last year. We do know that it takes places between Resident Evil 4 and 5 with Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine leading the charge.

The game will supposedly take players "back to basics," with puzzle-solving and the traditional zombie horror they've been accustomed to over the years. The game will also include some flashbacks to the original game, but it is unknown for the moment how these will factor into the overall game.

Revelations is slated for 3DS sometime in 2012, but you can get a taster of it if you purchase Resident Evil: Mercenaries, which is out in June 28 in the US and July 1 in the UK.
