Evo 2013 pulls record livestream numbers, UMvC3 most watched

This year's Evolution Championship Series attracted more livestream viewers than ever before.
Twitch told Destructoid that the event pulled in 1.7 million unique viewers - nearly 50% higher than last year.
The maximum concurrent viewership was 144,848, during Sunday's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 grand final.
The next two most popular events were also on Sunday. Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, the final event and usually considered the most core, had viewer watchers with 125,000.
It was beaten out by Super Smash Bros. Melee, which drew about 134,000 viewers. Bit of an eye-opener for Nintendo there, then.
