Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a brand-new and very British take on apocalypse. How does thechineseroom's latest stack up?
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture launches on PS4 later today, making good on a promise PS4 owners have been waiting on since 2013, and which followers of thechineseroom have been especially excited about.
Although you may know it for Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, the indie led by Dan Pinchbeck made its name originally with Dear Esther. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture further explores the storytelling possibilities of video games but with more interactive elements and a chance for layers to influence events.
Still, we expect the Game Police to come out in full force, since there don't seem to be any opportunities to shoot terrorists or whatever. So your mileage may vary, and you should probably check out reviews, which - oh my! What are these things I have clumsily dropped on the page below?
