Speaking with RPS, studio head Dan Pinchbeck said the PC version of the game has been submitted to Sony.

“As for the PC version, we started work on it in September and submitted it recently," said Pinchbeck. "Sony will be handling the PC release, including management of the Steam page and whatever else there might be, so it should be released as soon as they’ve done testing and preparation.

"It’s good to be back on PC. It’s where we started and it’ll be the home of our next game."

The next game coming from the developer, Total Dark, will launch on PC, and is an "isometric systems-driven adventure" which started out as a tabletop RPG prototype, according to the interview.

More information on the new title is promised later today, after 3pm when the embargo lifts.

In January of this year, banner art was found in an update on SteamDB as well as one labeled for “Beta Testing.”

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture was released for PlayStation 4 back in August 2015, and the developer said as far back as 2013 that a PC version was not “planned” at the time, but the team wasn’t ruling it out.
