Don't have the internet? Captain EA says you're a fool, sucker. Every game the publisher brings to market in its next financial year will have connected functionality, the firm said last night.

"In fiscal 2011, every one of EA’s releases will have an online component, both downloadable content and online play," said COO John Schappert, speaking in the company's Q3 investor call.

CFO Eric Brown added: "This fiscal ‘11 we will continue to introduce new service and product features that benefit unique registered purchasers on PC and console games.

"Our most recent example is the Cerberus content network," he said, referencing the Mass Effect 2 download system.

EA went all out in its earnings release last night, putting dates on many of its biggest titles for the next fiscal year. You can see everything right here.
