EVE Online to use Ukash as alternative in-game currency option

Ukash has announced it'll be used as an alternative in-game currency option to buy playtime, PLEX and character transfers.

The system is a new way for players to buy items without having a credit card or bank account, with no need to share personal details.

It then lets the consumer pick up a unique 19 digit code from 40,000 outlets in the UK. The card can then be used through 5,000 websites worldwide.

UKash is already being used in games like Drakensang Online, Battlestar Galactica Online, Runescape, Dark Orbit and Entropia Universe.
