European release of Fatal Frame IV canceled

fatalframe4a

Looks like Europe won't be getting Fatal Frame IV unless it's imported.

Originally slated for a May release, and advertised in a French magazine, the European release has been canceled according to the Official Nintendo Magazine.

From the mag:

"One time envisaged for a May release, the localization of the game has been cancelled and the game will stay as an Japanese exclusive game."

No reason was cited, so hopefully Tecmo/Nintendo can get together and work things out for everyone who wants it.
