EU PlayStation Network downtime this week

Sony has announced a period of downtime for the European PlayStation Network on Wednesday.

According to the EU PS Blog, Sony will take the PSN down for maintenance between 4:05 PM GMT on March 9 and 3:00 AM on March 10.

The outage will affect Australia and New Zealand, too. Those times again, now in AEST: 5:05 AM to 3:00 PM.

Interestingly, while the outage will take down the PlayStation Store and the ability to register and manage accounts, online multiplayer will stay up - provided you sign in to the PSN before it kicks off.

Thanks, CVG.
