ESRB suggests Darkstalkers coming to PSN

The first entry in Capcom's "other" fighter series looks set to debut on the PlayStation Network.

Joystiq noted an ESRB listing for Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, listed for PlayStation 3 and PSP.

The original game - which goes by the title Vampire in Japan - was a PSOne era arcade release which saw instant cult success on its port to consoles in 1996.

The monster-themed series has gone neglected in recent years, although Capcom staff have indicated an interest in resurrecting it, and some of its characters turn up in crossover games. Others - in particular, the cat and devil girls - remain favourite cosplay characters.
