EscapeVektor devs next game may be an asynchronous multiplayer for Wii U

Australian developer Nnooo have an early game concept for Wii U, according to the firm.

Speaking with Aussie Gamer, the studio said nothing is set in stone just yet but creative director Nic Watt is looking into creating a title with asynchronous multiplayer.

"The whole design on the game is multiplayer,” Watt said. “I’d like to look at some of the social aspects as well so you could play asynchronously with other players – so maybe you’re doing something and some hours later your friend does something in response.'

Miiverse integration is planned, but Watt said the team needs to "dive in and figure out what you can and cannot do with Miiverse," before a decision is made.

"There’s some ideas that we’ve tied into that social experience like posting updates on how you’re progressing in our game, and particular features of our game will suit particular features of Miiverse, but I can’t really say any more," he said.

Nnooo are currently working on the 3DS and Vita versions of EscapeVektor, as well as Spirit Hunters Inc for DSiware.
