Escape from Tarkov now taking beta sign-ups

Escape from Tarkov wants you to help test one of the most promising survival games around.

Escape from Tarkov is an online multiplayer FPS which has players investigating the conflict between two paramilitary organisations in a town closed off from the rest of the world by Russian and US forces. With raids and factions, it sounds more like an MMO than a straight up frag fest, and it's quite pretty to boot, so naturally there's powerful interest in checking it out.

Well, good news; developer Battlestate Games has started taking expressions of interest in beta testing. Head on over to the Escape from Tarkov website so sign up.

No word yet on when testing will begin, but I'd expect some action within the next few months; the project has been in the works since 2012 and is beginning to accelerate.
