Do your best to Escape Dead Island this November

Escape Dead Island, which was announced by Deep Silver for PC and last-gen consoles early last month, has a release date.

Described as a third-person “survival-mystery game with a fresh perspective on the Dead Island universe,” the game will bridge the events between both Dead Island titles.

It also promises to reveal the origins of the virus, in a story-driven, single-player game played through the eyes of Cliff Calo.

Players will be able to freely explore the new island, sneak around to avoid the undead which can a "hear and smell you.”

Creepy.

If you pre-order the game you will be granted access to the Dead Island 2 beta, which is in development at Yager and due for a spring 2015 release.

Escape Dead Island will release November 18 and November 21 in North America and Europe, respectively.
