Epic Games Store kicks off Holiday Sale with infinite $10 coupons

Epic's now-annual Epic Games Store Holiday Sale returns today, kicking off 15 days of free games this month and offering players a limitless $10 coupon.

After announcing its plans for 15 days of free games last week, Epic has now lifted the lid on its wider plans for the Epic Games Store Holiday Sale. The free games giveaway begins today with Cities Skylines, which is free to download until 8am PT/11pm ET/4pm GMT tomorrow when another title will replace it.

Perhaps the biggest offering this year comes in the form of a limitless $10 voucher you can use again and again in the storefront. If you want to redeem the coupon, you simply need to head to your Epic Games account and click the “GET MY EPIC COUPON” button here. Nice and subtle for you.

You’ll receive your first coupon automatically if you make an eligible purchase or claim a free game during the promotion period, and you can earn another $10 Epic Coupon for every purchase you make on qualifying titles priced $14.99 and above. This works in your regional equivalent, too, of course.

This promotion is very similar to the voucher we saw during the Epic Games Store Mega Sale, which basically makes anything viable above $15 about $10 cheaper.

If you head to the Epic Games Store and enter “Holiday Sale 2020” into the search bar, you'll see all the games that have been reduced for the Holiday Sale period.

The discounts, 15 Days of free games and limitless $10 Coupons will all expire on January 7 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm GMT.

Some of the highlights of the sale itself include:

Assassin's Creed Valhalla – 20% off
Jedi Fallen Order – 60%
Star Wars Squadrons – 40% off
Red Dead Redemption 2 – 33% off
• Sid Meier's Civilization VI – 75% off

You can see the full list of games on sale here.
