Epic attended Pixar storytelling workshop for Gears of War: Judgment

Epic production director Rod Fergusson has told Game Informer the studio attended a Pixar workshop in order to help improve storytelling for Gears of War: Judgment.

Fergusson said the firm attended the one-day shop led by the Toy Story creator in order to provide more in-depth character traits to the characters starring in Judgment.

"We've been trying to improve on storytelling since we started," Fergusson said. "And this seemed like a natural way of getting a little bit of insight into how what we consider to be the best in the industry."

Players will don the armor of Damon Baird on the latest title, which is set during the aftermath of Emergence Day, which takes place before the first Gears title.
