Elite seeing "bottleneck" due to registrant influx

Call Of Duty: Elite, the new stat-tracking service which launched aside Modern Warfare 3, is having a bit of an issue with so many folks trying to register at once.

According to an official post on the matter from Beachhead boss Chacko Sonny, registration requests for the service are "exceeding" the firm's "most optimistic expectations" and creating a "bottleneck" causing some players the inability to register with the service.

"We have already registered hundreds of thousands of players and we are working around the clock to increase our capacity as quickly as possible," he said.

Beachhead has said users encountering registration issues should check for updates through the above link, or follow the service on Twitter for status updates.

"Please be assured your gameplay data is safe and that whenever you successfully register for Call of Duty Elite, all of your data will be waiting for you," Sonny said. "we assure you we are working around the clock to accommodate every player who wants to be a part of Call of Duty Elite as quickly as possible."

Modern Warfare launched at midnight, and you can look over review scores here.
