Elite: Dangerous progress will not be wiped at launch

Those who have been participating in testing Elite: Dangerous will be pleased to know, or not depending on your view on the matter, that progress will not be wiped at launch.

The news was posted on the game's official forum, and has been met with both elation and complaints.

Many of the complaints in the 105 page pertain to players which exploited pre- release bugs such as one which resulted in players accumulating millions of in-game credits.

However, Frontier Developments plans on dealing with cheaters individually should the need arise.

Elite: Dangerous will release on December 16 for PC and a Mac release is planned three months later, so sometime around March.

Thanks, Blue.
