Elder Scrolls Online player Ryan Rager has won ZeniMax's $1M contest

Remember back in December when ZeniMax Online was handing out $1 million to one lucky Elder Scrolls Online player? Well, someone is about to be cut a check.

The winner is 30-year-old California native Ryan Rager, who currently plays as a Dark Elf Dragonknight, work as a service tech for a company specializing in home theater systems and smart homes.

He logged into the game as much as he could for his chance at a cool million, and it paid off.

“When I first started to play I was overwhelmed by how much there was to do," he said. “There were several players in the community who took the time to help me find my way. Thanks to everyone who helps new gamers and shows them around."

Rager plans to use a portion of his winnings to pay for his wedding, honeymoon, and a new TV for his Xbox One.

Congratulations Ryan, you lucky man.
