The Greymoor update for Elder Scrolls Online will be a bit late.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor has a new release date. The new chapter, part of Update 26, will be released a week late on May 26 for PC and Mac.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users can download the Greymoor chapter on June 9.

In an update posted by the game's director today, it states that since the team is working remotely, unforeseen problems could pop up, but if something changes, the team will inform players.

The team is also looking into a delayed input issue that reverts key and button presses from registering "in high-stress situations" and other large PvE events.

Originally set for May 18 on PC and Mac, and June 2 on PS4 and Xbox One, the Greymoor chapter takes you to Skyrim to deal with a vampire problem, among other things.

In Greymoor, you will travel to Western Skyrim to Solitude. The timeline is set before the Empire took control, and since you will visit an earlier version of Skyrim, the landscape will be a bit different than what you played in The Elder Scrolls 5.

One of the other locations you will visit in the expansion is Blackreach, a large Dwemer city located in a massive underground cavern. This area is expanded from what you may have played in Skyrim, and while underground, you will fight monsters led by a Vampire Lord and also find out more secrets that are part of the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline.

The Dark Heart of Skyrim is a year-long interconnected adventure that spans four updates. The free prologue quest and Harrowstorm DLC dungeon pack have already been released and will be followed by the Greymoor Chapter. Planned for August is an additional DLC dungeon pack, and in November more story DLC is scheduled.
