EGX 2016 to host a Capcom Pro Tour Street Fighter 5 tourney

One of Europe's three main Street Fighter 5 tournaments will be hosted at EGX 2016.

This year's EGX expo will host one of Europe's three events in the Capcom Pro Your. Street Fighter 5 is this year's game, as you'd expect, with a prize pool of $15,000.

The winner takes home $7,000 and gets a guaranteed spot in the Capcom Cup finals, which take place in the US towards the end of the year.

The event takes place over three days of EGX 2016, on the Fight Zone stage. That's Friday, September 23, through Sunday, September 25. Last year, EGX hosted a ranking event for the Capcom Pro Tour.

Details of how you can enter will be revealed later. For now, you can keep an eye on the official site, as EGX 2016 ticket sales start tomorrow.

EGX 2016 is scheduled for September 22-25.
