Early access to Resistance 3 public beta starts in August
Insomniac has announced early access to the Resistance 3 public beta will start in early August.
Those who received access through the purchase of SOCOM 4 in the US will be able to start on August 4, European PS plus members will get access on August 10. PlayStation Plus subscribers in the US will also be invited to join the beta beginning on August 23.
Maps the Seaside of Glamorgan, Wales, as well Trainyard in Bogota, Colombia will be part of the beta, as well as two of five multiplayer modes, Team Deathmatch and Chain Reaction. Player can level thri character, buy and upgrade weapons and abilities, customize loadouts and unlock new character skins.
The level cap in the beta is 20, so you won’t be able to get "the full range of abilities, modes, maps, and weapons until the game launches in September."
Insomniac says the beta will continue beyond the early access period, and additional ways to get in will be announced as Resistance 3′s launch date gets closer.
