EA "working very closely with Microsoft" on bringing games to Windows Phone

EA are partnering up with Microsoft to bring a host of games to the Windows Phone.

The publisher has agreed to introduce games including Medal of Honor, The Sims Free-to-Play, and World Series of Poker to WP8, Bloomberg reports.

"We’re working very closely with Microsoft to understand what their views on gaming navigation are," said EA COO Peter Moore.

Speaking before this week's Gamescom conference, Moore continued, "Anything that allows more platforms to be adopted quickly that have a gaming element is good for Electronic Arts."

EA's shares have dropped by 37 percent recently, so the company is aiming to target Microsoft's mobile platforms with greater intensity.
