EA VP Jeff Brown leaves company

Jeff Brown has stepped down from his role as senior VP of corporate communications of EA after 14 years.

Venturebeat reports that Brown has moved to a similar position at the point-of-view sports camera company, GoPro.

He's perhaps best known for his biting remarks over the years, often in defense of EA or comments on the industry in general.

In his departure, EA has assembled a global communications group, which David Tinson will lead.

Thanks, Polygon.
