EA to announce new games tonight

EA's confirmed it's to announce some new games today.

The company is hosting its annual studio showcase later tonight, with Gamespot streaming the whole thing live. The publisher tweeted that new games will be announced during the event.

"New games announced tomorrow at EA's annual Studio Showcase. GameSpot livestreaming it 1 PST"

There's a little part of us that wants to see Mirror's Edge 2 in that line-up. Pretty please?

Outside of the new titles, expect the usual suspects: Crysis 2, Medal of Honor, Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and more.

Shindig kicks off at 9.00pm BST. We'll have any news, natch.
