EA retires Mass Effect 3: Datapad app

Mass Effect 3's Datapad app has been pulled off iTunes by publisher EA, following the launch of the all-new Mass Effect 3 N7 HQ multiplayer companion.

Eurogamer reports that the app was removed from Apple's store along with a forum message from EA explaining the decision.

The app served as a 'Galactic Readiness' tracker and codex viewer while on the go, but both functions still exist in the new N7 HQ, so you will still be able to use them.

So chin up, all is not lost, you just need the new app instead.

Do you use Mass Effect 3: N7 HQ? Is it useful? Let us know what you think below.
