EA Play to be included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starting this holiday

Microsoft and Electronic Arts are handing EA Play over to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass PC subscribers for no additional cost.

The companies announced EA Play will be included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass PC starting this holiday.

This means Ultimate members can use EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows 10 PCs, and Game Pass for PC members get EA Play on Windows 10.

Formerly known as EA Access and Origin Access, EA Play will bring more than 60 of the company's games to the Xbox service.

Alongside the games, you can expect included benefits of EA Play such as in-game challenges and rewards, special member-only content, discounts on EA digital purchases for DLC, access to game trials, and more.

Some games will also be available to play on Android devices via the cloud.

Earlier today, Microsoft finally announced a November 10 launch date for Xbox Series X. It will run you $499 and pre-orders open on September 22.

This week, the company also announced Xbox Series S will be available worldwide beginning November 10.
